The King returns 🙌

 



The skies will darken, the earth will shake

As Jesus returns, for His people's sake

The trumpets will sound, the angels will sing

As the King of Kings, comes back to reign


With power and glory, He'll descend from above

His eyes blazing fire, His heart full of love

He'll separate the wheat, from the chaff and the grain

And gather His children, to forever reign


The faithful will rise, from the graves below

To meet their Savior, in the air they'll glow

With joy and with tears, they'll behold His face

And worship Him forever, in a holy place


The wicked will tremble, the proud will fall

As Jesus returns, to stand tall

He'll bring judgment and justice, to all mankind

And establish His kingdom, forever to shine


The heavens will declare, His glory and might

As He comes to claim, His rightful sight

The earth will tremble, the seas will roar

As Jesus returns, to forever restore


The mountains will shake, the valleys will split

As He comes to judge, with a mighty hit

The righteous will rejoice, the wicked will mourn

As Jesus returns, to forever transform


The world will see, His glory and light

As He comes to reign, with all His might

He'll bring peace and love, to all His own

And establish His kingdom, forever to atone


So let us be ready, let us be pure

For Jesus is coming, to take us home for sure

Let us live for Him, let us die for Him too

For Jesus is coming, and His return is true


Let us repent now, and turn to His way

For Jesus is coming, to save us from the fray

Let us be holy, let us be bright

For Jesus is coming, to take us home in delight


The time is near, the hour is at hand

For Jesus to return, to this promised land

So let us be ready, let us be bold

For Jesus is coming, to forever unfold.
